Dahlias on our Farm

We've been planning for the 2018 dahlia beds and ordering a few new varieties of tubers to support new needs. I've always got one eye on the events that we will be designing for and one eye on the varieties that I know do well at the farmers' markets. I'm also thinking about which plants do best for us in the short season that we have and with the pests we have to contend with. The images below have most of the many varieties we grow. I limited the entries to just 6 of each color/type. It was a fun exercise to pull these collections together. They are single images that I'll be able to share with future wedding and event clients who are interested in having dahlias in their arrangements.
