see for yourself!

Join us soon for a custom Farm Tour/Workshop Program or set up a Consultation Call!

We often receive inquiries for detailed information on how we’ve built the farm, how we market and sell flowers, how we entered the design world, how we navigated adding cut flower shipping during the pandemic— all sorts of things! Our custom consultation program allows us time to focus on your needs and interests.

New! We are now offering on-site private flower farming tours and/or custom consultations/workshop programs for interested parties. These programs are designed to help you with your specific goals. They are focused on and dedicated to your needs. A full day program will be designed with components of your choosing. Some ideas include: a focused flower farming tour of our property and systems, a conversation about plant varieties and pest/environmental issues, sourcing information, how-to build low tunnels and high tunnels, business information sharing, proposal reviews, marketing advice, shipping system navigation, website consultation/help, photography or design lessons. Your choice!

If you’re far away, you can book 1-hr consultation Zoom calls focused on your specific questions or mentoring needs. Add more calls as you need them.

All options are available here in our online shop.

The best way for us to tailor a plan for you is to talk directly with you and understand your situation and goals or to show you how things work here, first hand.

Just think about how much you could glean (and quickly!) from a 1:1 conversation or custom on-farm program with me as opposed to sitting in a big class (in person or online), trolling for information on various websites, driving around looking for the things you need for a project, testing out website building platforms, being disappointed when your wholesale bulb order doesn’t look like you thought it would, or sifting through social media posts to name a few!

Take some time for YOU and YOUR GOALS and SAVE TIME and MONEY on unnecessary hustling! I look forward to talking flowers with you soon! The number one ingredient in the forward momentum of my business has been education. So if we’re not the right fit for your needs, I hope you’ll invest somewhere else in learning and growing your business. It’s so important!

I’ll be in touch to help you set up your call/visit when we receive your order. If you have questions about our availability on certain dates, please inquire by email: linda@littlefarmhouseflowers.com before completing your order/making travel plans.

Thanks again for your interest! We hope to welcome you to our farm soon!

A little background info.:

  • In early 2021 we were featured in a series of short documentary films and interviews by Farmer’s Friend. Take a peek! Lots of things have changed in the year since the filming. We are back to full staffing, have added two more high tunnel structures, and have new commercial composting equipment, but this is still very relevant to our beliefs and mission.

  • In 2019 Linda was named one of 3 US founding ambassadors to the newly formed global Sustainable Floristy Network. We are joined by a small cohort of internationally recognized florists who prioritize sustainability in their business models and practices.

  • Linda is a graduate of a highly-respected on-farm flower growing and design intensive, and has been growing and designing with flowers professionally for five years. The “tough early lessons” are still fresh in her mind, and while her time in this arena is not long, she’s managed to build a thriving and profitable business that suits her goals of providing refined, sustainable floristry to the community, the greater Adirondack Park region, and New England.

  • Linda is a huge consumer of information. She LOVES learning, and gobbles up, tests out, builds up and breaks down all sorts of ideas related to flower farming and floral design. Her business and ideas have been described as: forward-thinking, original, and enterprising.

  • Before Linda entered floral design and flower farming, she was a career independent high school administrator and teacher, serving in a variety of roles including Dean of Faculty, Founding Director of a Center for Inquiry-Driven Learning and then Founding Director of a Center for Innovation, Director of Communications, and Digital Art and Design Teacher.

  • Her interests in communications and design were cemented at her very first job with the Discovery Channel’s online advertising department where she reported directly to the Vice President of Marketing and prepared proposals for Fortune 500 companies.

  • Linda has a Master’s degree in Education and a bachelor’s degree that brought together her love of design and writing though programs in political science and art/art history.
