Favorite Woody Cuts (Cold Climate Edition)

A member inquired recently about our favorite woody cut stems and that brought me back to the hours I spent agonizing over our first wholesale order for perennial shrubs. There were so many options and I had no understand of which ones would be most valuable to our young farm. It was overwhelming.

  6. Hydrangea: Spring Meadow Nursery (Extremely cold climates should avoid ‘macrophylla’ varieties. If tent caterpillars are a problem in your area, choose to grow ‘paniculata’ varieties.
