Low Tunnel Storage Caddy

Welcome back! Today I’m sharing how we organize and store our low tunnel supplies. If you’re taking down low tunnels and trying to figure out how to store those parts, have a look! Moussa built these low tunnel supply caddies to help us keep all the parts organized and make it easier to move all of these supplies out to the field at once.

This caddy is built on an old wood palette and we added a simple 2x4ft frame with some spare lumber that was laying around. We can scoop up this caddy with the forks of our tractor and move it right out to the field. Even if you don’t have a tractor— consider making a caddy or system to hang up those low tunnel hoops and keep them from turning into a tangled mess.

If you are interested in building low tunnels for the first time, have a look at the resources at Johnny’s Selected Seeds. You can find our 4ft x 4ft hoop bender there and instructions for building low tunnels.
