Subscription Products

Here’s a “different way to CSA.”

Some of the biggest barriers to customers purchasing our CSA or weekly subscriptions for flower bunches have been the up front cost and the inability to pause or cancel the program for vacations or family emergencies, etc.

A subscription model solves eliminates those barrier for customers. It breaks up the payments for the products over time and it allows them some control over their receipt of goods. This model will not word for farmers who need income upfront for their sales, but it can also help growers reach customers who might otherwise shy away.

Have a peek here and learn how easy it is to set up a subscription product on a Squarespace website. Other website providers have similar options.

Not ready for an unlimited, year-round subscription program? No problem, simply turn off your subscription product and remove the membership if you need to take a break or would like to close for a period between seasons. Re-sell your subscription again the following season as you would for any single-payment product.

OR- think about other kinds of value-added products that might help fill in when you have gaps in your fresh flower program. When you offer flower CSA-type programs, you don’t have to always share a fresh flower bouquet. There are MANY other kinds of products you can offer using the materials/supplies that can be more readily available to you in the winter time. - And a nice big list of them seems like a great topic for an upcoming video.

Note: A continuous, year round program can also save you from having to re-make sales to the same customers who might just stay on board with you continually if they could.
