Temperature & Humidity Monitoring

Love this tool! It’s saved the day a bunch of times. See how we easily monitor our temperature and humidity levels remotely. We have sensors around the farm: the studio, the small cooler trailer, the shipping container, the heated tunnel, and I also have one in the basement (forgot to mention that one in the video). This system could also monitor rainfall and wind speed if we wanted it to. And all the data comes to my phone- live and historical. Plus I can set alarms to warn me of trouble!

See how the sensors work and connect to a central location and to me remotely. Have a look at the weather station inside the house. The LaCrosse weather station model that we have is an v30V2. BUT- I always recommend purchasing the most current/newest model of these sorts of things because the new models have better use-ability and technology (generally). You will need a 2.4 ghz Internet signal (longer, weaker signal) to connect this system. This way, your sensors can reach from far away and through walls/buildings/insulated shipping containers/etc. Our home’s internet router offers both 5G and 2.4G. I think many are like this. If you aren’t sure, Google your router make and model or contact your internet provider to learn more before you purchase a LaCrosse system. Let me know if you have questions. The next video shows what the app looks like on my phone and how it works. 😊

Have a look at the back end and see how I can check all my sensors and set alarms inside the LaCrosse Alerts app on my phone. Huge piece of mind. So useful. I’ve been using LaCrosse alerts since the beginning of my farming career. I’m a repeat customer and I’ve had a couple generations of their weather station products now. As always- this content is NOT sponsored. The tools that I share here are genuinely tools we use and love here at Little Farmhouse Flowers. 💗
