German Statice

It’s perennial plant intro time! This multi use wonder is great fresh or dried, doesn’t need to be hung dry, and is super useful in design work due to its strong branchy network of stems. It can be used like chicken wire in vase arrangements or a a support structure in hand tied bouquets. It’s non-wilting and great for boutonnières and personal flowers and we love it in arbors and installations. Have a peek at German Statice!

This awesome plant is such a multitasker: fresh or dried. We can use it in pretty much any kind of design work if we want to. It has a nice neutral cream color in bloom and then it warms in hue a bit as it dries for a sort of peachy look. It doesn’t really shed much or at all when dried.

The plants take a full year to mature for flowering. But when they do flower, they are prolific bloomers and you’ll have beautiful clouds of German Statice.
