A member asked recently about per stem prices for different kinds of flowers. Here are some resources:

To learn how many stems are in a standard bunch of flowers (differs by variety) see this post.
To arrive at retail prices, multiply the cost of wholesale flowers by 3 to 4 times.
To price retail flower design add together:
-the retail cost of the flowers with the markup described above
-the labor needed to come up with and make the design
-the marked up hard goods (the wholesale price multiplied by 2 to 2.5.
