Wood Hyacinth Mix

$9.97

'Wood Hyacinth Mix' Qualities:

  • Colors: a collection of white, blue, and lavender/pink varieties

  • Zones: 3-9

  • Package of 10 bulbs

  • 12-15 inches tall.

  • Can tolerate and thrive in some shade.

  • Grower’s Note: We're convinced that wood hyacinth are the unsung heroes of the spring garden! We grow all three colors en mass on our farm and we're happy to share this mix so you can try them, too. Wood hyacinth are tall enough to be wrapped into our spring bouquets. To harvest, pull straight up until the stem pops off the bulb. This will also give you some extra stem length!

Planting instructions: Choose a sunny spot. Dig a hole or trough about 6 inches deep. Set your bulbs in the hole with the pointy tip up. Water. Cover and tamp down. Fertilizers are not necessary (we use none for them here). The energy for the plant comes from the bulb. It’s stored there like a battery. The typical spring rains here are all they need in our fields.

All sales are final. Buyer assumes responsibility for growing flowers from these bulbs. We recommend planting them within a week of receipt. This product ships in the fall.
